Set in the world of MotoGP, 'Ídolos' tells the story of Edu Serra and his rise from an unknown rider to the top of motorcycling racing. Directed by Mat Whitecross, the film is a Spanish-Italian co-production by Warner Bros. Spain and Warner Bros. Italy.
The film was shot in location during real races of the 2024 MotoGP championship with the participation of real teams and riders.
As 2nd Unit Director I did a wide variety of work including: shooting with real MotoGP riders and team members, green screen photography, filming races and stunts scenes with motorcycle crashes. I also worked with the main cast filming scripted scenes that didn’t fit the main schedule and directing the main unit when the director wasn’t available on set.
Additionally, I joined the film as Additional Editor, working with Mat Whitecross on his director's cut of the film.
